The Boch Center is challenging the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia to a trash-talk fueled wager over Super Bowl LII this Sunday, February 4, 2018. That’s when the #1 New England Patriots will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“While we believe the arts make us a civilized society, a history of winning sports teams fuels our competitive spirits,” said Josiah A. Spaulding, Jr., President & CEO of the Boch Center. “In that spirit, we are challenging our sister performing arts center in Philadelphia to a friendly wager. With the GOAT and my friend Bill Belichick at the helm, we’re heading into Sunday’s game feeling confident and ready to bring home another Super Bowl championship!”
Following the outcome of Sunday’s game, the losing city’s performing arts center must:
- Buy the winning team’s staff a celebratory lunch (Lobster Rolls vs. Cheesesteaks)
- Post a staff photo on social media with employees wearing the winning team’s colors
- Display the winning team’s mascot on campus signage
Be sure to check out our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages for some good natured trash-talk. May the best team (PATRIOTS) win!
