At the Artist’s request in order to minimize ticket scalping, this show is using paperless ticketing. No physical tickets will be issued upon purchase. For credit card purchases, attendees will need to present the same credit card used to purchase, and a matching government-issued photo ID, to enter the theatre on the night of the performance. If you are purchasing with cash at the box office, you will need to provide a government-issued photo ID at the time of purchase. On the evening of the performance, you will need to present at Will Call the same photo ID used to purchase tickets, and you and your group must immediately enter the theatre after pickup.
Legendary artist Neil Young will bring his solo tour to the Boch Center Wang Theatre for two nights only, Wednesday, July 11 and Thursday, July 12. William Prince will be the opening act for both shows.
“One of my first solo shows was in the Wang Theatre, then called the Music Hall. It’s a real beauty folks – a chapel of soul and music. I hope it still sounds as good as it did then and that I do too! I can’t wait to get there and find out. The audiences in Boston are unlike any other. Every city has its own feel. I am very lucky to be back there and hope to see you. My Dad came and watched me play there once. Memories are everywhere in Boston. That town has been good to me. See you there I hope!”
Neil Young is one of the most influential songwriters and guitarists of his generation, known for classics including 'Old Man,' 'Harvest Moon' and 'Heart of Gold.'

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Wang Theatre has housed the performing arts since opening in 1925, developing from a movie “cathedral” and home to vaudeville musicals and big bands, to today’s role as an impressive venue for world-class theatre, music, Broadway, and dance.
